Violence and cultural disorder
It's really frustrating that our political system doesn't seem to allow real discussion. The killings Uvalde are a symptom of a much broader issue in our culture. It is not a healthy one - especially for our youth. Everything from the high proportion of single parents, to the "Trans" movement, to abortion, to video games and culture, to guns is almost designed to confuse youth trying to understand where they stand in the world. You have to start with the basic truth that youth are not ready for fully reasoned thought. On different issues both the left and the right agree on this. The left makes this clear when talking about guns or religion in schools, while the right makes the point when talking about the trans-movement and abortion.
